The Singapore Flag, the Pinnacle at Duxton and Palm Trees

I always think of the Pinnacle at Duxton as Lee Kuan Yew’s flat as it’s touted as his idea to develop the area. Although I may not agree with the man and take offense at some of his comments pertaining to things like race and the graduate mother’s scheme, one of his best ideas was to plant trees everywhere, and there’s no denying that it’s saved us from being cooked to a crisp.
