Food at Katong

Joo Chiat is part of Katong, so it’s a bit hard for me to determine where Joo Chiat ends and Katong begins. But since this is Katong Junction, I decided to do a separate post.

Stuck behind an ice van I was puzzled at the tagline – have ice will revel.  I guess they meant that ice means a party and merry-making.  It’s quite true, that ice is crucial for any party.

A burger place I’ve been meaning to try as I heard so much about it – Fat Boys.

I saw a restaurant yesterday, not that far from Katong in fact, that beats all of yours hands down.

Apologies for the tripple x rating, but it’s really called “Porn’s”.

Wait, it gets weirder, because the logo is a cartoon of an elephant’s backside, including its business end. And the the tagline? What else? “Seductive Seafood”…

    I swear!

  2. Porn sounds like my ex uni mate’s new restaurant…You know Pornsak, the TV food presenter on Channel 8.
I would love to try Fat Boys one day. And I love Chin Mee Chin, it is so old school! You should check out their kaya buns!
