More Chinese New Year Photos from the Trip to Vivo City

Another place to get the full effect of Chinese New Year, together with the loud music are the supermarkets, so since we were at VivoCity we checked out the Malaysia Hypermart called Giant.

Couldn’t resist snapping Bug’s Bunny’s girlfriend in a sexy cheongsam.

The lion dance has fascinated me since I was a child. But the dragon dance, even more so. There’s supposed to be a lion dance competition at VivoCity in the evenings, but I didn’t catch. Maybe you will and then I’ll read about it on your blog.

Mandarin oranges everywhere. I love that they are so easy to peel. I like them sourish sweet.

The Lacoste store featured a polo shirt designed by a famous Chinese designer. I think that print would look more beautiful on a mug. I love the blue against the white. On the shirt, it just looks a bit too busy. But for a new outfit, at least it’s a change from the traditional red.

I was attracted by the pretty pink signs. There was a tarot card reading session that was about to take place.
