Had a real expensive rootbeer float at Happy Daze, a little neighbourhood open air cafe pub, in Serangoon Gardens that cost S$7.90. The float was a real treat though as I haven’t had one in a long while. But I think nothing can beat A&W’s frosty where the glass mug is frosted. The place is not air-conditioned and seems to cater more to smokers. The owner seems nice and friendly and I think her high costs is to cover the fact that people probably sit around for hours chatting and smoking.
