Been doing some heavy posts, so I decided to surf for music to lift my spirits. Works every time.
YouTube has snippets and music videos of future episodes that you’ve probably not caught yet, if you’re in Asia, so skip this post. Most of these songs hitting number 1 on iTunes just show what a hit maker Glee is turning out to be. Paltrow’s not 40, just 38, but in this scene she makes 40 seems so cool. What a great comeback line.
And here is the original singer, Cee Lo (the PG Rated version), just so that you can tell that the Goop actress singer did a good job. If you were annoyed with some of her Goop, you’ll forgive her, as she did Glee right. Speaking of Goop, she does have some great stuff on her website, like wouldn’t you want to know how she looks so good. She reveals her secrets like facial products here. The hard bit is, I don’t think she eats bread and bread is like one of my favourite things.
Half Philippino and Half Irish newcomer, Darren Criss, makes a splash with Katy Perry’s Teenaged Dream. I could just watch Glee music videos all day. They make me so happy. I just love choirs and voices that harmonize – so uplifting.
I like the Emma character a lot more after this performance. Who knew she was such a good singer. The thing about Glee is that there are so many hidden talents that surprise you.
Of course, somehow nothing can beat their cover of the Journey song – Don’t Stop Believing. It was just so inspirational.
Well maybe “To Sir With Love” matched the perfection.
