This is a great idea, I’m trying to do something similar as part of my 30 before 30 challenge, to see 30 new tourist places in the area I live in Scotland. So often when we live somewhere we never do those kind of things. I lived in Edinburgh for 7 years and never even visited the castle!
Wow a castle in Edinburgh sounds wonderful. I would love to visit one. Yes it is true that we don’t visit what’s near because we always feel we can do it anytime and sometimes that time never comes.
