This post will be more of a photo essay. As we walked from The Cathay to Prinsep Street for lunch, we noticed a couple of new buildings and they were pretty attractive. Many were still adorned with flags. I spotted a tourist painstakingly trying to capture a close-up of a Singapore Flag, which made me feel like I have been taking the flag for granted. I wish the flag would come in a huger size like the ones I saw in America. Those were really impressive. The buildings were adorned with greenery and that’s what captured my eye. The new architecture was captivating.

The School of the Arts (SOTA) impressed me with it’s striking modern architecture with natural elements like wood and greenery.

Hotel Rendevous which is a pretty old but refurbished hotel looks majestic but homely at the same time. The interior had very high ceilings with sky lights where natural light could flow through.

On the walk back I spotted a beautiful turquoise Vespa. Hope the owner doesn’t mind.
