The new luxury place called Mandarin/Gallery is just in front of the hotel called Mandarin Orchard. I prefer old buildings, but I have to admit this place looks very sophisticated and quite different from the other malls. When we popped by today I noticed Korean tourists with loads of shopping bags, boosting our recession hit economy. Anyway in this place, the recession seems non existent.

I thought the steel lattice design within the mall was pretty sophisticated.
